Kaveri College organized cultural extravaganza Yuva Spandan 2021-22

Kaveri College  organized cultural extravaganza Yuva Spandan 2021-22 on Thursday, 23rd Dec 2021, on Online platform. Given the norms of pandemic, and social distancing, the event was executed on an online platform. Cultural committee head Ms. Suchismita Mohanty, welcomed everyone to the event, Principal Dr. Ashok Agrawal addressed the students and participants and Inaugurated the fest! 


Like every year, Yuva Spandan was organized in a way to boost creativity and enhance skills in students and to provide them with an innovative platform to flaunt their talent. Rangoli Competition, Mehendi Competition, Photo Story Competition, and Poster Competition was arranged by College. There was a theme of Relationships for all the Competitions. Students participated very spontaneously in all the competitions, as per their respective area of interests, and came up with very unique and innovative ideas.


All participants received  e-certificate. Cash prizes for 1st (₹1000) & 2nd (₹500) prize winners & E-Certificates for each competition were declared at the Prize distribution. All the participants tried their best to present the best of their creativity. It became truly tough for the judges to settle on declaring Winner. Yet, the best of all were declared winners. In the Rangoli Competition, Akshada Kudale won the 1st Prize and Samruddhi Gore won the 2nd Prize. Whereas, in Poster Competition, Mrudula Chitragar won the 1st Prize, and Pranjal Jagtap won 2nd Prize. And that about the Photo Story Competition, Ninad Thakur stood 1st among all. In the Mehendi Competition, Mrunalini Phadtare earned the 1st Prize and Neha Kandhare won the 2nd Prize.


Everyone enjoyed the event a lot. The Cultural Committee Of Kaveri College worked really hard to execute this event on an online platform in such adverse situations as well. Principal. Dr. Ashok Agrawal appreciated the Participants for their active participation and Congratulated the winners along with their parents. Ms. Mohanty concluded the event on a good note. Vice Principal Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Coordinators of all Departments, Teachers, and all the Teaching & Non-teaching staff enjoyed the program with enthusiasm. 

 

All Competitions and Cultural performances were conducted on Zoom Platform and steamed live on You Tube. Students showcased their talents through Solo Singing, Solo Dancing in forms like western, folk, classical, contemporary etc., Instrumental , Monoact – mimicry, comedy etc.  Total 26 performances were shown in the Online Cultural Performances Event.
