Kaveri College in association with MTC Global and Global Entrepreneurs Grid, Bangalore organized a 4 Day National Level Business Fest from 6th Dec 2021 to 9th Dec 2021. The fest got a huge response of around 750 participants from all over India, from states like Maharashtra, Kerala, Goa, Tamilnadu, West Bengal, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, New Delhi, etc. The most remarkable thing is, though the fest was meant for Junior and Senior College students, even the students from Higher Secondary approached the organizers, requested and became a part of it.
The fest began on 6th Dec 2021, with an inauguration function, with Prof. Bholanath Dutta, Founder and Director MTC Global and Global Entrepreneurs Grid, as the Chief Guest of the program. He motivated the participants by saying that To convert the obstacles into opportunities and to have ability & will to convert the dreams to reality are the signs of true Entrepreneur. Principal. Dr. Ashok Agrawal addressed the audience and mentioned that Kaveri College has always successfully offered innovative and progressive platforms for overall development of students, and it still continues to do so even in online mode in the situation of pandemic.
On the First day, Business Magnate was conducted- A workshop on becoming successful entrepreneurs, in which the resource person of the session Mr. B. R. Venkatesh, Founder and Director, MBTLA Academy guided the students regarding the topic.
On the Second day of Fest, an interesting competition Ad-Decode was organized which was about Advertisement Analysis PowerPoint Presentation. Students participated in this competition very fondly and happened to impress the Judge by presenting Advertisement Analysis through Power Point Presentation in their own unique manner. On Third day, Business Dialogue was organized, in which a very enriching panel discussion of successful entrepreneurs was conducted for understanding the entrepreneur’s journey, challenges and failures faced by them and ways to overcome them.
The dignitaries in the panel were: Ms. Prajakta Joshi-Founder & COD, PuneWomen Solo Travellers & T-connect, Mr. Rahul Pathak-Founder Director, AquaPlus Water Purifiers (pvt) Ltd & Mr. Aniket Mhashabde-Founder Cymour Cycling Services. The panel discussion was moderated by a renowned academician Dr. Shirish Limaye- Retd. HOD, Business Accounting, Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce.
On Fourth day, Biz Film was organized which was a short film competition on inspiring entrepreneurial stories. Participants prepared and presented very remarkably made short films ranging from the ones made on Small Budget Hawkers to Renowned Business Tycoons. Candidates created these short films by doing a role play, animation ppt, etc.
A very senior mentor Ms. Jyoti Gogte-Mentor of Change at Atal Tinkering Labs of Niti Aayog and Mr. Ninad Sumant-dynamic Kaveri Alumni, Software Engineer, Theater and Film Enthusiast, both judged the competition and were pleased with the efforts put by students.
Towards the end of this fest, Ms. Shweta Bapat-Co-Ordinator, BBA & BBA IB department at Kaveri College, summarized the fest and presented a vote of thanks.
