Kaveri College arranged a workshop on “Emotional, Intellectual and Spiritual Transformation” on 2nd Aug, 2014

The Women’s Forum of the Kaveri College of Science and Commerce arranged a one day workshop on “Emotional, Intellectual and Spiritual Transformation” in association with the Chinmaya Mission, Pune. 
The inauguration of the workshop took place at the hands of Mrs. Indira Salian, Vice-President, Kannada Sangha. She emphasized the role of Mahabharata, Ramayana, Bhagvad Gita and Vedanta in spiritual development of Indian Society. She highlighted that of all the emotions, Love and Compassion are at the highest pedestal of the moral values for man. Mrs. Radhika Sharma, Trustee, Kannada Sangha and Mr. Ravindra Shetty, Mr. Mahesh Mohan and Mr. Taruun Vaiddya of the Chinmaya Mission as the Facilitators for the workshop graced the occasion.
Dr. Kharosekar, in his presidential address, encouraged the participants to take the maximum benefit from the workshop which was designed for the mental development of the students.
Mrs. Suchismita Mohanty in the welcome address introduced the programme to the audience.
In the first session on Emotional Transformation, Mr. Ravindra Shetty expressed facts about Happiness, Disappointment, Anger, Love and Knowledge in maintaining the emotional balance. He elaborated on the point of EMOTIONALLY AT PEACE where P stands for Pause, E for Educate yourself, A for Appreciation, C for Care and E for Evolve. Further Mr. Mahesh Mohan gave insights on how to be INTELLECTUALLY CLEAR where C stands for Choice of decisions, L for Love, E for Enquiry, A for Act from inspiration and R for routine. Mr. Taruun Vaiddya accentuated the fact that the SPIRITUALLY Transformed person is always AWAKE where A stands for aim in life (Dharma, Artha, Kaam Moksha), W for Work (Karma), A for Altar of Devotion, K for Knowledge and E for Equipoise.       
The workshop received an overwhelming response from the girl students of the college. Ms. Sneha Govande compeered and Ms. Pooja Ambole proposed the vote of thanks.
