The NSS unit of Kaveri College of Science and Commerce arranged an exhibition on the life of Namdar Gopal Krishna Gokhale on his death centenary in collaboration with Gokhale Institute of Political Science and Economics, Pune.

Sunil Gokhale – Great grandson of Namdar Gopal Krishna Gokhale, Dr. S.B.Kharosekar, Principal, Kaveri College, Mrs. Suchismita Mohanty, Vice Principal, Teachers and students were present on this occasion . Principal Dr. Kharosekar welcomed the guests and explained objective of exhibition. Dr. Parchure, in his speech highlighted multidimensional and multidisciplinary personality of Shri Gokhale. He explained the contribution by Namdar Gokhale in the freedom struggle of India by giving various examples .
Dr. Adv. Sunil Gokhale shared information about contribution of Namdar Gokhale in various areas like women education, women freedom, social education, untouchability and Abolition of casteism etc.
Mrs. Shilpa Kannade compeered the programme and Mr. Anand Budhhikot expressed vote of thanks.
