Electronics Project Model Exhibition receives overwhelming response



To inculcate research culture among students the Department of Electronics of Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce had organized an Electronics Project Model Exhibition on 16th January 2018. The Exhibition was organized by Kaveri Research and Innovation Centre (KRIC) and Electronics Department of Kaveri College.

Mrs. Malati Kalmadi, Secretary, Kannada Sangha, Pune inaugurated the exhibition. In her inaugural speech she said that the students must set measurable goals in life. She also asked them to identify their true potential and be creative and innovative in their thinking. Mrs. Kalmadi appreciated the students for effectively exhibiting their subject knowledge by making projects on different topics. She congratulated all the students for their best efforts. Dr. S.B. Kharosekar, Principal, Kaveri College, Mrs. Suchismita Mohanty, Vice-Principal, Kaveri College, Dr. Jayashri Bangali, Head, KRIC and coordinator B.Sc, Staff members and Students were present on the occasion.

The exhibition received an overwhelming response from the students. Total 25 students from Electronics Department presented projects on topics such as Automatic Sliding Door, Basic Electronic Voting Machine, Stopwatch, Digital Temperature Indicator, PIR Light Controller, Alcohol Detector, PIR: Security Alarm, Traffic Signal Controller, Solar Powered Power Bank, Pressure Indicator, Musical Door Bell and Electronic Board, Glowing LED, etc.


Under the Kaveri Research and Innovation Center, students from BBA, B.Sc. (Computer Science), BCom, M.Sc. (Computer Science) presented 12 projects such as Effects of Smart Phone on Students, Human Machine Interface, Street Light Controller, FM Radio
Transmitter, Touchless Door Bell, Smart Network, Sanitary Waste Management, Afforestation, Water Level Indicator, Anti Accident Blinker, etc. The exhibition was a grand success and gave a good opportunity for the students to express their abilities and to work in collaboration.
