Inter-collegiate Competitions of Paper Presentation, Project Competition and C-coding Competition held at Kaveri College

Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce conducted Inter-collegiate Paper Presentation competition in Electronics and Computer Science' , 'C' Programming competition  and PowerPoint Presentation in Mathematics and Statistics for B.Sc.(Computer Science) students on 5th and 6th January 2017.The competition was inaugurated by Principal Dr. S. B. Kharosekar. In his inaugural speech, Dr. S. B. Kharosekar said that such competitions enhance students’ subject knowledge, presentation skills and communication skills. He also gave some tips to the participants and told them that mistakes are a crucial step in learning, growing, and improving yourself.

Topics for the Electronics and Computer Science paper presentation were - IoT and their Applications, Role of Electronics in Energy Harvesting, Ethical Hacking, Operating System used in Mobile devices. The competition was judged by Mrs.Manisha Suryawanshi from Modern College Shivaji Nagar. She guided the students about presentation skills.  Topics for the power point presentation competition in Mathematics and Statistics were Statistics in daily life, Probability, Golden Triangle and Fibonacci sequence and Graph Theory. The competition was judged by Dr. Bhavana Deshpande from Poona College.

In paper presentation competition in Electronics and Computer Science the First Prize was bagged by Anish Marathe and Omkar Kulkarni from Kaveri College and the second prize was won by Aniket Chavan from Modern College .The consolation prizes were won by Renuka Hemade and Shikha Khar of TC College Baramati and Archit Joshi, Pranil Kulkarni and Ashish Yakri of Kaveri College. 

In ‘C’ programming competition Hrishikesh Ambre from Kaveri College won the First Prize and in power point presentation competition. Mr Archit Joshi and Mr.Siddharth Mehendale from kaveri college won the first prize and  Ms.Shivani Renavikar and Ms.Aaishwarya Ubale from Abasaheb Garware college won the second prize.

Total 13 teams participated in paper presentation competition, 20 students in ‘C’ programming and 6 teams in power point presentation from renowned colleges namely MIT, VIT, Garware College, Modern College, Indira College, Arihant College,Dr.D.Y.Patil College from Pune , T.C College from Baramati and K.K.Wagh College from Nashik .


Ms. Pallavi Joshi and Ms.Geetanjali More compeered the programme. Dr. Jayashri Bangali, Chairman, Science Association proposed vote of thanks.
