‘Martyr’s Day’ observed by NSS at Kaveri

 The NSS Unit of Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce observed Martyr’s Day on 30^th January 2021 to commemorate the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and the martyrs who have laid down their lives for the motherland. Principal Dr. Ashok Agrawal, Vice Principal Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, NSS Programme Officer Mr. Nilesh Nemade, Office Superintendant Mr. Ravindra Bhalerao, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college were present for the event.

A few NSS student volunteers did ‘shramadaan’ and cleaned the college campus on this day. Principal Dr. Ashok Agrawal first paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi  and he reiterated the sacrifices made by all the martyr’s.  The teaching and non teaching staff observed two minutes of silence to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and other martyrs. Ms. Sayee Kulkarni compeered the event.

All the COVID 19 protocols and social distancing norms were followed rigorously during the entire event.
