‘Marathi Bhasha Samvardhan Pandharwada’ Celebration at Kaveri

 

Kannada Sangha Pune’s Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce organized various activities for Promotion and Propagation of Marathi Language during 14^th January 2021 to 28^th January 2021.

During this period, college circulated various e-books in Marathi like Kalidas, Dadasaheb Phalke, Mahatma Gandhi, Pandita Ramabai etc. to promote the language and encourage students to read Marathi.  Students also participated and presented posters on the subject.

A lecture by Prof. Vrushali Deodhar was organised on 23^rd January 2021 on Promotion of Marathi language. She emphasised on reading as it leads to personality development. She also said that  language is a tool to facilitate communication and expression of thoughts. She also mentioned various famous and talented writers like Da. Ma. Mirasdar, Va. Pu. Kale, Shankar Patil to name a few. She emphasized on the use of Marathi language.

Dr. Ashok Agrawal, Principal, Dr. Muckta Karmarkar, Vice-Principal were present for the event. Mr. Nilesh Nemade, Programme Officer, NSS welcomed participants and Mrs. Manasi Joshi, Assistant Programme Officer proposed vote of thanks. Many students participated in the activities and benefitted from the events organised by the college.
