Kannada Sangha’s Kaveri College of Arts, Science and Commerce, conducted the Orientation Programme for the first year students of B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BBA (CA), BBA (IB) and BA and their parents on 11th July, 2016 in the college auditorium.

Sangha Pune was the Chief Guest. Mr. B.B. Rao, Hon. Treasurer Kannada
Sangha Pune was the Guests of Honour for the programme. Dr. S.B.Kharosekar,
Principal, Kaveri College, Mrs. Suchismita Mohanty, Vice Principal, Teachers
and alumni were present on this ocassion. The first year students
and their parents in large number attended the programme. The programme began
with the recitation of Vidyapeeth Geet. In her welcome speech, Mrs. Suchismita
Mohanty appealed the students to make best use of all the facilitates and
activities offered by the college for holistic development. 
Smt. Malati Kalmadi, Secretary,
Kannada Sangha Pune interacted with the students. She advised the students that
Leadership, Sports and Arts are the three essentials to have a bright career.
She said that each one should find out his strengths and weaknesses to lead a
successful life. She also informed the parents about the
establishment and growth of Kannada Sangha Pune.
Dr. S.B. Kharosekar, in his speech
appealed the parents to improve and develop communication with their wards for
their holistic development. He further said that it will boost their confidence
and they will feel secured.
On this occasion, two of the alumni
of the college, Ms. Jui Vaidya and Mr. Priyal Shilimkar shared their
experiences about the college and stressed upon the immense contribution of the
college in their overall progress. The glimpses of various events and
activities to be carried out by the college in the academic year ahead were
presented by Ms. Sayee Kulkarni.

Kulkarni compered the programme while Dr. Jayashri Bangali, Co-ordinator,
B.Sc(CS) proposed the vote of thanks.
